You should strive towards taking four small meals in a gap of two and half hours to three hours. Let me explain this with an example: I am listing five foods that are high on Carbohydrates and proteins respectively. Here is the list:
a) Lean Roast Beef(Protein)
b) Cottage Cheese Low Fat(Protein)
c) Eggs(Protein)
d) Mixed Vegetables(Carbohydrates)
e) Fresh Apples(Carbohydrates)
Now what you do is you can have Cottage Cheese in your breakfast, Lean Roast Beef with Eggs in your lunch, Fresh Apples as your evening snacks and Mixed Vegetables in your dinner.
This rotation of food confuses the body and body starts burning more calories than it consumes. Supplement this exercise with lots of water intake. Ideally, it should be eight glasses a day.
Step5: On an every given opportunity, you should move your body. Our sedentary life style restricts this activity. For example, if you use escalators then take stairs. Another great way to imbibe this practice of walking into your daily routine is to walk, whenever you talk to someone on a cell phone.
